“As someone who spent my last two years of high school homeless, the Pell grant has allowed me to pursue my dream of becoming a lawyer in a way I wouldn’t be able to otherwise. Not only this, but almost every single person I’ve grown attached to would be unable to attend Stout without the Pell grant. It is funding like this that ensures that those of us from the poorest of backgrounds can pull ourselves up and pursue a better life.”
