This update gives more&nbsp;flexibility in&nbsp;who can create and edit&nbsp;Change Orders. This change&nbsp;mirrors&nbsp;access that was previously available in&nbsp;ShopUW+.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>What\u2019s Changing?<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>After&nbsp;this update, all employees will be able to create and edit Change Orders for any Purchase Orders they are able to access in Workday, including editing Change Orders that have been saved for later.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Before:<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Only employees with the Requisition Validator security role could create Change Orders.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Saved Change Orders could not be edited.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Now:<\/strong>&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>All employees can create and edit Change Orders, including those saved for later.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Access&nbsp;to Purchase Orders&nbsp;is&nbsp;determined&nbsp;by security roles&nbsp;(such as Program Manager, Cost Center Manager, FIN Analyst UW, and Employee as Self).&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Resources<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Access the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/kb.wisconsin.edu\/workday\/internal\/146991\">Create Change Order<\/a><\/strong> KnowledgeBase resource for instructions on the new process.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>For Workday questions or support, explore&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.wisconsin.edu\/workday\/get-help\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Get Help<\/a>&nbsp;resources on the Workday website.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Starting on Feb.\u00a027,\u00a0Workday will launch a new process for Change Orders on Purchase Orders.
