{"id":1954,"date":"2025-12-10T11:00:00","date_gmt":"2025-12-10T11:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.wisconsin.edu\/workday\/?p=1954"},"modified":"2025-12-10T21:28:41","modified_gmt":"2025-12-10T21:28:41","slug":"new-workday-process-for-non-catalog-purchases","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.wisconsin.edu\/workday\/2025\/12\/10\/new-workday-process-for-non-catalog-purchases\/","title":{"rendered":"New Workday process for non-catalog purchases\u00a0"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Starting December 12, Workday will introduce a new process for creating non-catalog purchase requisitions to improve efficiency by allowing more flexibility in who completes the required questionnaire.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>What&#8217;s Changing?<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In this updated process, both the&nbsp;Requester&nbsp;and the Requisition Validator will receive a requisition questionnaire task at the same time. The task will appear in My Tasks&nbsp;in Workday.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Before:<\/strong>&nbsp;Only the Requisition Validator received the questionnaire task.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Now:<\/strong>&nbsp;The&nbsp;Requester&nbsp;<em>also<\/em>&nbsp;receives the task to complete the questionnaire.
