Information Services has obtained a limited number of 1-year subscriptions to NHGO NOW from New Horizons. NHGO NOW contains short-segment video lessons on Microsoft applications like Excel, Word, Skype for Business, and Office 365. New Horizons utilized their Microsoft-certified instructors to create instructional videos that are task-focused, searchable, and relevant.

Hundreds of training courses in technology, design and other subjects are available through Lynda.com. UW System Administration employees with a UW-Madison NetID can access the service at no charge.

DoIT Technology Training
As a UW System institution, employees of UW System Administration have access to training through UW-Madison’s Division of Information Technology, either for no cost, or at a reduced rate. Topics range from brownbags on technology and instructional topics, to online offerings, and face-to-face hands-on workshops on the UW-Madison campus.
