The recruiters at UW Colleges will transition reporting to the receiving institution geographically nearest their current UW Colleges recruiting territory as of August 1, 2018.
The UW Colleges total recruiting budget will be divided proportionally, reflecting the 13 branch campuses. Each receiving institution will receive recruitment funds proportionate to the number of branch campuses it will have, receiving a 1/13 portion of total UW Colleges recruitment funds per branch campus. For example, a receiving institution with two branch campuses will receive 2/13 of the funds.
Table 1 provides a breakdown of the recruitment funds that will be distributed to each receiving institution and the proportion of the UW Colleges recruitment funds the distribution represents.

UW Colleges uses a centralized approach to recruitment. Each Recruiter serves one of eight UW Colleges recruiting territories, not individual UW Colleges campuses. UW Colleges administers a single recruitment budget through its central administrative office.
As of July 1,2018, pending HLC approval, UW Colleges will no longer exist as an accredited educational entity. Each of the UW Colleges campuses will become a branch campus of a UW four-year comprehensive or research institution. Recruiting resources must be appropriately transitioned to reflect this change. Recruiters will be assigned to report to a receiving four-year institution.

Each receiving institution will receive recruitment funds proportionate to the number of branch campuses it will have, receiving a 1/13 portion of the total UW Colleges recruitment funds per branch campus. The total recruitment funds include budgeted FTE, fringe, and S&E.
UW Colleges Recruiters will transition their reporting to the appropriate receiving institutions on August 1, 2018. Recruitment funding will be distributed to receiving institutions on August 1, 2018.
