\u200bThe U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) has finalized their annual market review of lodging maximums & meal\/incidental per diem rates and have released new domestic lodging maximums for travel that occurs between October 1, 2024 \u2013 September 30, 2025. These rates have been updated in Concur as well as the Lodging, Meal & Incidental Per Diem Calculator\u00a0<\/a><\/p>\n

State \u201cPer Diem Rates\u201d are the maximum reimbursement rates for University of Wisconsin employees traveling on University of Wisconsin business.<\/p>\n

International Rates<\/strong>: The U.S. Department of State and Department of Defense release international and U.S. Territory lodging rates and M&IE per diems on a monthly basis. This is reflected in the\u00a0Lodging, Meal & Incidental Per Diem Calculator<\/a>.<\/p>\n

State Rate<\/strong>: The UW System continues to negotiate the state government maximum (currently $98) with\u00a0preferred hotel partners<\/a>\u00a0whenever possible.<\/p>\n

Upcoming Travel<\/strong>: UW preferred hotel partners and chain-wide hotel partners have been informed of the rate increases and are applying them to future reservations within Concur or with UW Travel contracted agencies.<\/p>\n

Conference Travel:\u00a0<\/strong>Lodging for travelers attending externally sponsored conferences or other business events will be paid or reimbursed at the actual cost for staying at a conference-site or conference designated hotel(s) when the nightly rate exceeds the per diem maximum for the location.
