Any user who experienced an error was able to successfully sign in by retrying. Customers using Single Sign\u2011On (SSO) were not impacted by this incident.\n\nRoot cause:\nDuring a planned updates to the authentication service, some users experienced intermittent login failures when signing in with a username and password. This occurred because the deployment was rolled out gradually, and for a short period different parts of the system were running slightly different versions of the CSRF token encryption logic. As a result, newer instances were unable to correctly process tokens generated by older ones, causing some login attempts to fail. The issue was temporary and resolved automatically once the deployment completed and all systems were running the same version.\n\nCorrective Actions:\nThe preventative action is to identify authentication updates that may create conflicts between newer and previous versions during a rollout. Once identified, those updates will be scheduled for deployment during a maintenance window, allowing advance customer notification regarding any expected impact.<\/p>\n                        <\/article>\n                    <\/li>\n                <\/ol>\n            <\/div>\n\n        \n            <div class=\"row\">\n                <ol class=\"post-archive small-with-photos \">\n                    <li class=\"col-md-12 post-excerpt \">\n                        <h2><a href=\"https:\/\/open.concur.com\/details\/p1\/?incident=OPI-6240069\">OPI-6240069 : US2 | EU2 : Travel : Issue Resolved<\/a><\/h2>\n                        <article >\n                            <p class=\"post-date\">15 May 2026 | 2:37 pm<\/p>\n                            <p>All Sabre SAP Concur Travel customers experienced an issue completing travel bookings for air, hotel, car, and rail segments. Affected users encountered the following error after selecting a travel option and clicking \u201cBook and Continue\u201d on the Review and Book page: \u201cAn error has occurred with your booking. Start a new search and try again.\u201d Internal testing indicated that retrying the booking or refreshing the page did not resolve the issue for New Concur Travel users. While Legacy Concur Travel bookings may have succeeded intermittently upon retry, no consistent workaround was available.\n\nThe Incident Response Team received confirmation from Sabre that the incident is now resolved.\n\nWe have verified that service performance is stable and will now resolve the incident. Affected users encountered the following error after selecting a travel option and clicking \u201cBook and Continue\u201d on the Review and Book page: \u201cAn error has occurred with your booking. Start a new search and try again.\u201d Internal testing indicated that retrying the booking or refreshing the page did not resolve the issue for New Concur Travel users.
