Affected users encountered the following error after selecting a travel option and clicking \u201cBook and Continue\u201d on the Review and Book page: \u201cAn error has occurred with your booking. Start a new search and try again.\u201d\n\nRoot cause:\nThe root cause of the incident has been identified to be a service disruption at  our third party GDS partner Sabre. \n\nCorrective Actions:\nN\/A<\/p>\n                        <\/article>\n                    <\/li>\n                <\/ol>\n            <\/div>\n\n        \n            <div class=\"row\">\n                <ol class=\"post-archive small-with-photos \">\n                    <li class=\"col-md-12 post-excerpt \">\n                        <h2><a href=\"https:\/\/open.concur.com\/details\/p1\/?incident=OPI-6239779\">OPI-6239779 : US2 : Travel : Root Cause Analysis<\/a><\/h2>\n                        <article >\n                            <p class=\"post-date\">29 May 2026 | 5:31 am<\/p>\n                            <p>Impact as Reported:\nApproximately 85% of SAP New Concur Travel customers experienced an issue searching for air, car, hotel, or rail segments, regardless of the GDS used. Affected users may have encountered missing details on the Travel Wizard search page, or a blank page or error after submitting search criteria. In some cases, users were able to complete their search successfully after retrying. No consistent workaround was identified during the period of service degradation. Legacy Travel customers were unaffected by this incident.\n\nRoot cause:\nThe Incident Response Team identified an automated routine that was attempting to execute a large database query. This led to contention with other queries that needed to access the same dataset. The contention issue ended once the automation stopped the query having exceeded its allowed run time, and service returned to normal.\n\nCorrective Actions:\nThe following corrective and preventative actions were identified:\n1. Disabled the automation from running queries on the core database impacted until further preventative actions are implemented\n2. Update automation to use an estimated row count limit to block the query from running automatically and send to the database team for manual review.\n3. Restrict the hours for automation to run on core databases to non-peak hours to avoid contention during primary business hours.\n4. Update the timeout configuration to be per server so that lower timeouts can be configured for larger or most critical databases<\/p>\n                        <\/article>\n                    <\/li>\n                <\/ol>\n            <\/div>\n\n        \n            <div class=\"row\">\n                <ol class=\"post-archive small-with-photos \">\n                    <li class=\"col-md-12 post-excerpt \">\n                        <h2><a href=\"https:\/\/open.concur.com\/details\/p1\/?incident=OPI-6236991\">OPI-6236991 : US2 : Expense | Travel | Invoice | Request | Imaging | Analysis\/Intelligence | Mobile : Root Cause Analysis<\/a><\/h2>\n                        <article >\n                            <p class=\"post-date\">21 May 2026 | 3:46 am<\/p>\n                            <p>Impact as Reported:\nSome SAP Concur customers experienced a brief issue signing in to the SAP Concur website and mobile app. Users who sign in using a username and password may have seen an error message stating, \u201cSorry, something went wrong,\u201d after entering their username and selecting Next.\nUsers who were in the process of signing in during this brief service degradation may have encountered a timeout error or been redirected back to the sign\u2011in screen. Any user who experienced an error was able to successfully sign in by retrying. Customers using Single Sign\u2011On (SSO) were not impacted by this incident.\n\nRoot cause:\nDuring a planned updates to the authentication service, some users experienced intermittent login failures when signing in with a username and password. This occurred because the deployment was rolled out gradually, and for a short period different parts of the system were running slightly different versions of the CSRF token encryption logic. As a result, newer instances were unable to correctly process tokens generated by older ones, causing some login attempts to fail. The issue was temporary and resolved automatically once the deployment completed and all systems were running the same version.\n\nCorrective Actions:\nThe preventative action is to identify authentication updates that may create conflicts between newer and previous versions during a rollout. Once identified, those updates will be scheduled for deployment during a maintenance window, allowing advance customer notification regarding any expected impact.<\/p>\n                        <\/article>\n                    <\/li>\n                <\/ol>\n            <\/div>\n\n        \n            <div class=\"row\">\n                <ol class=\"post-archive small-with-photos \">\n                    <li class=\"col-md-12 post-excerpt \">\n                        <h2><a href=\"https:\/\/open.concur.com\/details\/p1\/?incident=OPI-6240069\">OPI-6240069 : US2 | EU2 : Travel : Issue Resolved<\/a><\/h2>\n                        <article >\n                            <p class=\"post-date\">15 May 2026 | 2:37 pm<\/p>\n                            <p>All Sabre SAP Concur Travel customers experienced an issue completing travel bookings for air, hotel, car, and rail segments. Affected users encountered the following error after selecting a travel option and clicking \u201cBook and Continue\u201d on the Review and Book page: \u201cAn error has occurred with your booking. Start a new search and try again.\u201d Internal testing indicated that retrying the booking or refreshing the page did not resolve the issue for New Concur Travel users. While Legacy Concur Travel bookings may have succeeded intermittently upon retry, no consistent workaround was available.\n\nThe Incident Response Team received confirmation from Sabre that the incident is now resolved.\n\nWe have verified that service performance is stable and will now resolve the incident. An investigation into the root cause of this incident will now be conducted by Sabre, and a root cause analysis report provided when that investigation is complete.<\/p>\n                        <\/article>\n                    <\/li>\n                <\/ol>\n            <\/div>\n\n        \n            <div class=\"row\">\n                <ol class=\"post-archive small-with-photos \">\n                    <li class=\"col-md-12 post-excerpt \">\n                        <h2><a href=\"https:\/\/open.concur.com\/details\/p1\/?incident=OPI-6240069\">OPI-6240069 : US2 | EU2 : Travel : Issue Status Update<\/a><\/h2>\n                        <article >\n                            <p class=\"post-date\">15 May 2026 | 2:19 pm<\/p>\n                            <p>All Sabre SAP Concur Travel customers experienced an issue completing travel bookings for air, hotel, car, and rail segments. Affected users encountered the following error after selecting a travel option and clicking \u201cBook and Continue\u201d on the Review and Book page: \u201cAn error has occurred with your booking. Start a new search and try again.\u201d Internal testing indicated that retrying the booking or refreshing the page did not resolve the issue for New Concur Travel users. While Legacy Concur Travel bookings may have succeeded intermittently upon retry, no consistent workaround was available.\n\nServices have returned to normal operating levels. We will continue monitoring performance for the next 15-30 minutes to verify stability.
