Instead of releasing individual fixes and improvements on an ad-hoc basis, we\u2019ll bundle items together and release them in a more structured timeline. This approach will help us deliver improvements more consistently while minimizing disruptions to each application. It also provides clearer timelines for campuses and gives us a better way to prioritize and plan more effectively. All applications included in our Detailed Central Applications Service Catalog (above) will follow this schedule.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Maintenance Release Schedule<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Starting in September 2025:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Central applications that have maintenance work completed will be released on the\u00a0<strong>first Monday of each month<\/strong>.\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>If the first Monday is a legal holiday, we will release the information on the next available business day.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>These releases will mainly include non-urgent items that have been identified.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If <span style=\"box-sizing: border-box; margin: 0px; padding: 0px;\"><strong>high-level issues<\/strong>\u00a0are identified, they will be addressed<\/span> on an ad-hoc basis.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>To view items ready for an application&#8217;s next maintenance release:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Incidents:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/tableau.wisconsin.edu\/#\/site\/SYS\/views\/SISTeamsReportedIncident\/SISTeamDashboard?:embed=n&amp;:iid=1&amp;:origin=card_share_link\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">SIS Team\u2019s Reported Bugs Dashboard<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Service Requests: <a href=\"https:\/\/tableau.wisconsin.edu\/#\/site\/SYS\/views\/SISTeamDashboard\/SISTeamServiceRequestsDB?:iid=8\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">SIS Team\u2019s Enhancement Requests Dashboard<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We are utilizing a maintenance release schedule for our central applications.
