The Learning Technology Development Council (LTDC) brings together learning technologists, instructional designers, and faculty technology support professionals across all UW universities in their quest to support faculty and students to integrate instructional technology with the goal of improving student learning outcomes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Misson<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The mission of the LTDC is to encourage UW system-wide collaboration among campuses and support individual campus efforts that promote the pedagogically sound use of technology in teaching and learning, as well as explore the use of existing, new, and emerging technologies in higher education.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Vision<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The vision of the LTDC is to enable highly engaged and collaborative teaching and learning environments at UW universities, enhanced by the pedagogically sound use of technology to foster active learning and critical thinking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Campus Representative<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The LTDC representative should be a person in a leadership position at the university learning technology unit, who has direct responsibilities in supporting or managing learning technology programs, works with faculty, has direct access to the academic leadership on campus, and is able to coordinate campus efforts to participate in collaborative projects with other UW universities. They should have a close connection with the campus LMS site-admin personnel and other instructional support or faculty development areas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Expectations of a campus representative<\/h4>\n\n\n\n
