Fluid, Canvas Integration, and Delegated Access are a few examples of projects that our team has supported.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\" \/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Detailed Central Applications Service Catalog<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Central Applications Development and Support<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>1098T<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2013 The 1098T software is used to send the 1098T data in the correct format to UWSA\u2019s Vendor MicroDynamics Group.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Address Cleansing<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2013 Address Cleansing is a suite of add-ons for PeopleSoft that provides automatic correction and standardization of address fields, using Runner Technologies\u2019 CLEAN_Address.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>CDR<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2013 The Office of Policy Analysis and Research (OPAR) acquires data through the management of the Central Data Request (CDR). The CDR is a system-wide data collection effort involving a wide variety of areas, including admissions, student enrollment, financial aid, and curricular activity.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>EPCS<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2013 EPCS (Electronic Application to PeopleSoft Conversion System) interface for importing data from the UW System\/Learning Innovations EAPP (Electronic Application) into PeopleSoft Campus Solutions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>FFWS<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2013 The group issuing the Fund For Wisconsin Scholars (FFWS) has requested a report detailing continuing eligibility for all students receiving funds from the FFWS scholarship. All UW Higher Education institutions will be required to generate and submit a report on all students who have a disbursed award linked to this program.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>FICA<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2013 The SIS Services team provides the FICA Extract to help UW campuses report FICA Waiver eligibility information to HRS.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>MAAD<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2013 Multiple Applications and Admissions Data (MAAD) includes data that identify and describe students who have applied for undergraduate enrollment at one of the University of Wisconsin System institutions. It records data on a monthly basis about the applicants and the admission actions taken on each application.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>PICH<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2013 PICH stands for Person Hub \u2013 IAM \u2013 Campus \u2013 HRS. PICH retrieves HRS data from the Identity Access Management system and delivers it to campus systems via Integration Broker.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>PIP \u2013 NRT \u2013 PIP<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2013 (PeopleSoft to IAA Provisioning) interface between campus instances of Campus Solutions and the UW System IAA (Identification, Authentication, and Authorization) system.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>TIS<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2013 Integration support for the Transferology credit transfer tool<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>PRISM<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2013 Support and maintenance of legacy UW-Colleges information system<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">ATP Integrations<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>CAC Bolt-On Changes<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>CDR SQR Updates<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>OAuth<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013\u00a0All web service integrations that\u00a0utilize\u00a0the API\u2019s built and provided by the Enterprise Integration team require the use of a provided Client ID and Client Secret to produce an oAuth token that is used as authentication and authorization for access to the API endpoints and data.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Financial Data Model (FDM)<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Chartfield Clear<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 The\u00a0Chartfield\u00a0Clear Process will\u00a0delete\u00a0all\u00a0the\u00a0existing\u00a0data from the chart field configuration tables in preparation for the new chart field data to be imported.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>FDM Loader<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 The FDM Loader reloads the SIS\u00a0chartfield\u00a0configuration table with data values supplied by Workday Finance.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Cost Center Hierarchy Importer<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013\u00a0The Cost Center Hierarchy importer is an extension of the FDM Loader.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>FDM Validator<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Federal Work Study (FWS)<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Federal Work Study (Outbound)<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 This interface sends Federal Work Study awards to Workday.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Federal Work Study (Inbound)<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 This interface sends award usage back to SIS where it will be displayed on a screen.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>General Ledger (GL)<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>GL Journal SIS Outbound<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 This process will select\u00a0all of\u00a0the required data from the student financials accounting entries table, load into staging record, perform some transformations to prepare the data for writing to a file and then create and write to the outbound file.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Item Type Loader<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 Updates\u00a0existing item types with new GL Interface values.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Waiver\/Write-Off Process<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Refunding<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>SIS Refunds (Outbound)<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 Process that\u00a0creates a .csv file containing\u00a0all of\u00a0the currently posted refund transactions for\u00a0students and\/or parents.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>SIS Refunds (Inbound)<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 Process to automate receiving Workday payment data to be used for reconciliation processes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Person API Stream Service (PASS)<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 PASS is designed to replace PICH and interface with Workday.\u00a0 Workday will send person data to the Person Hub.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>POST-PASS<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 POST PASS is designed to replace POST PICH processing of the incoming HR Data from the Person Hub.\u00a0 POST PASS\u00a0processes the data as per the business logic\u00a0and loads the person data into delivered PeopleSoft tables or College specific custom tables.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>PIP-NRT\/Batch Updates<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 (PeopleSoft to IAA Provisioning) interface between campus instances of Campus Solutions and the UW System IAA (Identification, Authentication, and Authorization) system.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Supervisory Organization<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 Retrieves and stores UW supervisory\u00a0organizations\u00a0structure.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\" \/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Central Applications Maintenance Release Schedule<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>We are utilizing a maintenance release schedule for our central applications. Instead of releasing individual fixes and improvements on an ad-hoc basis, we\u2019ll bundle items together and release them in a more structured timeline. This approach will help us deliver improvements more consistently while minimizing disruptions to each application. It also provides clearer timelines for campuses and gives us a better way to prioritize and plan more effectively.
