Educators from across Wisconsin are invited to submit a session proposal for the 2020 UW-System Learning Technology Development Council Virtual Showcase. This showcase highlights a variety of strategies and approaches to teaching and learning from every campus of the UW-System and other Wisconsin colleges and universities. It will be held on April 7-8, 2020.
The sharing of projects, best practices, and innovations from across the UW-System is the heart of the showcase. This year’s theme is Learning Architects: Building the Future; however, you are welcome to submit any relevant topic you are passionate about. We encourage sessions that involve collaboration, use of appropriate and acceptable technologies, multiple institutions, and multiple discipline proposals.
There will be six breakout session categories: Digital Learning Environment, Student Engagement, Teaching and Learning, Technology and Other Resources, Accessibility and Universal Design, and Open Educational Resources. Concurrent sessions will consist of 45-minute presentations: 30 minutes for the topic and 15 minutes for questions and answers. All sessions will be given via web conferencing software. Sessions will be recorded and available for archive viewing, so you and your colleagues can refer back to past sessions. Proposals are due January 31, 2020. Successful proposals will be notified in late February. More details: https://www.wisconsin.edu/learning-tech/events-conf/ltdc-virtual-showcase-2020/
