Planned System Outages

Systemwide IT outages

  1. Oracle Database Hosting (Production) Maintenance

    The Oracle Database Hosting (Production) service will be undergoing maintenance. One of the two database instances will remain up so there will be no full database outages. Connections to databases may drop and reconnect during the maintenance.   1. Oracle Database Hosting (Non-Production) Outage

    The Oracle Database Hosting (Non-Production) service will be unavailable while maintenance is performed.

  1. HRS- Human Resource System Outage

    HRS will be down for maintenance. HRS/EPM may be unavailable to users during this time. This also includes end user access to Self Service modules and Timesheet entry, as well as Applicants using Candidate Gateway. HRS batch processing is limited or suspended during this time. Maintenance processes in PeopleSoft require clearing application and web server cache. The HRS system to respond slowly, as cache is re-built, immediately following maintenance outages.

  1. SFS - Shared Financial System Outage

    The SFS - Shared Financial System service will be unavailable while maintenance is performed.

  1. SysNet Node Upgrades

    Between Monday, April 11th at 7:00 PM through Friday, April 26th at 11:59p Sysnet Optical Engineers will be upgrading code on all Ciena 6500 Optical shelves. We intend to perform the service affecting work (reboots) between 8p-6a. While firmware is upgraded on the optical components of each shelf there will be a loss of redundancy. We will take every precaution to avoid any service impacts, but there exists a risk in the event of the shelf processor not performing as expected, or an unscheduled fiber event
