(Residents of California, which is not a member state, should refer to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dca.ca.gov\/consumers\/complaints\/oos_students.shtml\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">California Department of Consumer Affairs website<\/a>.) Individuals can find information about filing a complaint with DLAB on its website.<\/p>\n<p><a class=\"btn btn-primary btn-sm \" target=\"_blank\" role=\"button\" href=\"https:\/\/heab.state.wi.us\/dlab\/students.html\">Visit DLAB Site<\/a><\/p><\/div>\n\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t<div class=\"cfct-module uwsa-callout\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"cfct-mod-content callout standard no-bg\">\n    <h3 class=\"cfct-mod-title\">Program Integrity Complaints<\/h3><p>Under the United States Department of Education\u2019s Program Integrity Rules, individuals may file a complaint against a college or university, alleging:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A violation of State consumer protection laws.<\/li>\n<li>A violation of State law or rule relating to the licensure of postsecondary universities.<\/li>\n<li>A complaint relating to the quality of education or other State or accreditation requirements.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Complaints must be filed within one (1) calendar year from the date of the alleged violation or the last recorded date of the affected student\u2019s attendance at the affected university, whichever is later. Within this period and after exhausting all reasonable avenues available to the student through their university&#8217;s internal complaint or review policies and procedures, individuals can submit a complaint using the UW System Integrity Hotline online reporting form or by calling 1-855-827-4950.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><a class=\"btn btn-primary btn-sm \" target=\"_blank\" role=\"button\" href=\"https:\/\/secure.ethicspoint.com\/domain\/media\/en\/gui\/58858\/index.html\">Go to the Integrity Hotline Reporting Form<\/a><\/p><\/div>\n\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t<div class=\"cfct-module uwsa-callout\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"cfct-mod-content callout standard no-bg\">\n    <h3 class=\"cfct-mod-title\">Complaints to the Higher Learning Commission <\/h3><p>UW System universities are accredited through the Higher Learning Commission (HLC). You may search for information about accreditation actions using the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hlcommission.org\/directory-of-institutions\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">HLC Directory of Institutions<\/a>. \u00a0HLC\u2019s complaint process is intended to review matters pertaining to the institution as a whole as they relate to HLC requirements.
