The project empowers students with information and tools and helps advisors, faculty and staff build more effective, timely support to improve student outcomes.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>While Navigate360 users extend beyond advisors, this project supports <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wisconsin.edu\/360-advising\">Universities of Wisconsin 360 Advising priorities and strategies<\/a> to expand high quality, proactive advising to improve retention and guide students to graduation.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t<div class=\"cfct-module uwsa-tabs-accordions\">\n\t\t\t\t<h3 class=\"cfct-mod-title \">Background<\/h3>    <div class=\"bs-accordion  bs-accordion-min\">\n        <div id=\"a2a88\" class=\"panel-group\">\n        \n            <div class=\"panel panel-default \" id=\"panel_navigate360-project-objectives\">\n    <div class=\"panel-heading\" id=\"heading_navigate360-project-objectives\">\n        <h4 class=\"panel-title\"><button href=\"#navigate360-project-objectives\" data-toggle=\"collapse\" class=\"collapsed panel-link\" aria-expanded=\"false\" aria-controls=\"navigate360-project-objectives\">Navigate360 Project Objectives<\/button><\/h4>    <\/div>\n    <div id=\"navigate360-project-objectives\" class=\"panel-collapse collapse\"  role=\"tabpanel\" aria-labelledby=\"heading_navigate360-project-objectives\" role=\"region\">\n        <div class=\"panel-body copy\">            \n            \n        <ul><li>Facilitate, leverage, and enhance the EAB services to foster networking and sharing of best practices to drive student success<\/li><li>Leverage Universities of Wisconsin system resources to partner with EAB for change management and successful expansion of the use of Navigate360 functions<\/li><li>Promote the\u00a0development of a common set of data and analytic models across institutions to support data-driven processes and decisions and ensure improved student success<\/li><\/ul>                <\/div>\n    <\/div>\n<\/div>\n            <div class=\"panel panel-default \" id=\"panel_system-investment\">\n    <div class=\"panel-heading\" id=\"heading_system-investment\">\n        <h4 class=\"panel-title\"><button href=\"#system-investment\" data-toggle=\"collapse\" class=\"collapsed panel-link\" aria-expanded=\"false\" aria-controls=\"system-investment\">System Investment<\/button><\/h4>    <\/div>\n    <div id=\"system-investment\" class=\"panel-collapse collapse\"  role=\"tabpanel\" aria-labelledby=\"heading_system-investment\" role=\"region\">\n        <div class=\"panel-body copy\">            \n            \n        <ul><li>UW System Board of Regents approved the initial investment in December 2018 to lower the cost to four UW institutions already using the EAB system at the time and to provide an affordable entry for eight additional UW institutions to adopt Navigate, which now is called Navigate360.<\/li><li>The Board of Regents in June 2023 approved the renewal and extension of the EAB contract for another five years from Dec. 31, 2023, through Dec. 30, 2028.<\/li><li>The investment aligns with the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wisconsin.edu\/president\/strategic-plan\/\">UW System 2023-2028 Strategic Plan<\/a>, including to \"champion student success across the higher education life cycle.\"<\/li><li>Navigate360 supports advising\u2014particularly <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wisconsin.edu\/360-advising\">360 Advising strategies<\/a> to improve retention and graduation\u2014as well as enrollment management and the provision of strategic data to administrators, faculty, and staff at all levels.<\/li><\/ul>                <\/div>\n    <\/div>\n<\/div>\n            \n    <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t<div class=\"cfct-module uwsa-rich-text\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"cfct-mod-content copy\"><h3>What users say about Navigate360<\/h3>\n<blockquote><p><em>&#8220;It&#8217;s really helpful when Navigate gives me notifications on the home page for when I need to do things. This is a large class (more than 200 students) and one in which students can easily &#8216;fall through the cracks.&#8217; I have found the Early Alert system to be quite effective in letting at risk students know that: 1) I have noticed that they may be struggling and 2) I care about their success at UW Oshkosh.
