SUMMARY:EAB Working Session: Crafting a Compelling Virtual Orientation
DESCRIPTION:Note:  EAB offered multiple sessions over several days. \nDescription: Enrollment and student affairs leaders have traditionally relied on in-person summer orientations to decrease melt and build a sense of community before classes begin. But with campuses likely closed for much of the summer due to COVID-19\, institutions must move orientation to an alternative format—and do so fast. \nIn this virtual working session\, EAB staff and participants discussed revamping orientation with a small group of peers from both enrollment and student affairs. Participants had the chance to share their own ideas\, explore how peers are reshaping their orientation programs\, and help shape and direct EAB research on 2020 orientation.
