The PUM/Ptools 2019 project will upgrade both the SFS application and the underlying PeopleTools software that runs it.  This will improve SFS’s compliance with oracle support recommendations, leading to more future patches addressing PeopleSoft security issues.

In addition, we are putting in several improvements that you can experience in the new SFS 9.2 Environment.

Expenses

Added another link to add attachments at the end of an expense report, just before the the traveler clicks Submit.
The UW Summary Report will be at the end for the traveler to review before submitting the expense report.
From now on, any travel authorizations that are past the start of the trip that are pending or waiting for approval will get automatically set to a status of closed.
Reminder emails will be sent out every Monday to any approver that has reports waiting more than 7 days for them to approve.
The traveler’s EMPLID will show at the top of the expense report when approving reports.
Funding will no longer show the long description for each field (ex. Department, fund etc.) so all fields can appear on one screen.

Accounts Payable

Fixed Audit Framework Error when trying to add Email to LOC Tab Payables.
New Picture for AP Workcenter Tile on HomePage.
New functionality for clearing staging tables will improve the response time for all requests to clear the Voucher staging tables.

Billing

The Billing Invoice Print Process now includes attachments.

General

PeopleSoft is moving toward a page layout that is more responsive for display sizes, including Desktop, Tablets, and Phones.  Several pages have already transitioned to this new “Fluid” style.

Some pages have not been transferred yet.  In order to make the older pages compatible, PeopleSoft has provided an updated style sheet which changes some of the window layout around the page.

All pages will transition to the Fluid style over time.  In the interim, SFS will implement Classic Plus style sheets to maintain support as Oracle adjusts PeopleSoft.

Here are two screenshots for the Tree Viewer page in General Ledger, to illustrate the change.
