Through the Universities of Wisconsin\u2019s membership in URMIA, UW universities have access to the Tenants\u2019 and Users\u2019 Liability Insurance Policy (TULIP), which provides liability coverage for special events held on university property.<\/p>\n

\n

TULIP is designed for third-party individuals or organizations that use university facilities for specific events and may not carry their own liability insurance. The program offers affordable, event-specific coverage and can be extended to include vendors, performers, and exhibitors, if needed.<\/p>\n

This policy helps protect both the third-party event host and the UW university against claims arising from bodily injury or property damage sustained by participants or attendees during the event.<\/p>\n

Coverage is only available for events held on university-owned property or facilities. It does not extend to off-site locations.<\/p>\n
