Her areas of research and scholarship are rhetoric, argument, and advocacy in contexts related to women&#8217;s lives and material conditions. After teaching first-year writing for 17 years in various institutions as an adjunct instructor, graduate teaching assistant, and eventually as a tenured faculty member, Dr. White-Farnham felt called to serve a new constituency, peer instructors, and moved to a full-time administrative role.
