The College Lesson Study Project (LSP) is designed to train and support UW System instructors to engage in lesson study, a process in which small groups of instructors collectively examine their teaching and student learning by designing, teaching, observing and refining individual class lessons. Lesson study teams build knowledge about how students learn in their discipline, produce a lesson that can be used by others, and create manuscripts for possible publication, presentation, and inclusion in teaching portfolios.

The Lesson Study Project (LSP) supports the use of lesson study among college instructors in all disciplines, fields, and levels of study.  Since 2003, hundreds of faculty and instructional staff from across the UW System have participated in lesson studies in their courses.
