Changes made during Benefits Open Enrollment are effective January 1, 2026.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Review<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Review the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wisconsin.edu\/benefits-enrollment\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Benefits Open Enrollment web page<\/a>\u00a0for the following resources:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>2026 Benefits Highlights video<\/li>\n<li>Department of Employee Trust Funds (ETF) Insurance Benefits Decision Guide<\/li>\n<li>Benefit plan comparisons<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Decide<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>You may be eligible to enroll in, change, or cancel coverage for the plans listed below. For some plans, you can add or remove dependents.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>State Group Health Insurance<\/li>\n<li>Dental Insurance<\/li>\n<li>Vision Insurance<\/li>\n<li>Individual &amp; Family Life Insurance (current enrollees only)<\/li>\n<li>Accidental Death &amp; Dismemberment (AD&amp;D) Insurance<\/li>\n<li>Accident Insurance (this year, you must re-enroll your spouse\/children to cover them in 2026)<\/li>\n<li>Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs): Health Care, Limited Purpose, Dependent Day Care Accounts<\/li>\n<li>Health Savings Account (HSA)<\/li>\n<li>Parking and Transit Accounts<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>You must re-enroll in these plans <strong>each year<\/strong> to participate:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Flexible Spending Account (FSAs): Health Care, Limited Purpose, and Dependent Day Care Accounts<\/li>\n<li>Health Savings Account (HSA): required if you enroll in a High Deductible Health Plan (HDHP)<\/li>\n<li>Health\/Medical Opt-Out Incentive<\/li>\n<li>Parking and Transit Accounts<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Enroll<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Enroll in your benefits for 2026 by logging into <a href=\"http:\/\/myworkday.wisconsin.edu\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Workday<\/a>. In Workday, go to Personal, then Benefits and Pay. In the Suggested Links, choose <strong>My Insurance Benefits<\/strong>\u00a0to access the benefits enrollment system.<\/p>\n<p>All enrollments and changes must be submitted by <strong>Friday, October 31, 2025, 4:30 pm.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Reminder: <\/strong>Before you enroll you will need to set up your <strong>My Benefits account<\/strong>. This is a <em>one-time<\/em> registration process that you must complete, using your <em>personal<\/em> email address, prior to enrolling in your benefits for 2026.
