The UW 403(b) SRP is unique, because it&#8217;s managed by the UW System and an advisory committee (The SRP Advisory Committee (SRPAC), formerly the TSA Review Committee) specifically for UW System employees. Currently, the program is under review for updates and enhancements with the following goals in mind:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Offering leading provider(s)<\/li>\n<li>Providing proven investment options<\/li>\n<li>Communicating with participants in a simple and engaging manner<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-17349 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/www.wisconsin.edu\/ohrwd\/benefits\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/42\/2020\/08\/tsa-family-3-2-300x200.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"251\" height=\"167\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.wisconsin.edu\/ohrwd\/benefits\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/42\/2020\/08\/tsa-family-3-2-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.wisconsin.edu\/ohrwd\/benefits\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/42\/2020\/08\/tsa-family-3-2.jpg 720w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 251px) 100vw, 251px\" \/>As a part of this process, UW System and TSA Review Committee teams reviewed the program, including current providers and investment options, with an eye to cost-effectiveness, simplification and ease of use for our participants. UW System&#8217;s goal is to make it easy to enroll, select investments, and monitor investment performance on an ongoing basis.<\/p>\n<p>The UW System team is committed to sharing more throughout this review process and as decisions are made over the coming year. UW System&#8217;s objective is to be transparent and informative, with regular communications to participants and the UW System community as a whole. We will be sending out communications from time to time, but this website will serve as an ongoing communication tool that will be regularly updated with information as it is available. After consulting with a wide range of stakeholder groups and discussion with a focus group of UW System employees, including shared governance representatives, the TSA Review Committee decided to change the name to the <strong>UW 403(b) Supplemental Retirement Program<\/strong>, or UW 403(b) SRP for short. The new recordkeepers for the UW 403(b) Supplemental Retirement Program (UW 403(b) SRP) are <strong>TIAA and Fidelity<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h4>Investment Line-up<\/h4>\n<p>As a part of this process, UW System and the TSA Review Committee reviewed the investment options and chose 18 best-in-class options that will be available through TIAA and Fidelity, along with a Guaranteed Fixed Rate Annuity for each provider. Participants can also choose to work through a self-directed brokerage window.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span class=\"doc-icon\"><a class=\"doc-type pdf\" href=\"https:\/\/www.wisconsin.edu\/ohrwd\/benefits\/download\/UW403bInvestments.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">UW 403(b) SRP Core Investment Line-up<span class=\"sr-only\"> pdf<\/span><\/a><\/span>\r\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t<div class=\"cfct-module uwsa-callout\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"cfct-mod-content callout standard no-bg\">\n    <h2>Fee Structure<\/h2>\n<p>The UW 403(b) Supplemental Retirement Program continues to provide options that are no-load with no sales commissions or broker fees. Participants have access to institutional share classes through the core line-up.<\/p>\n<p>This fee structure provides more transparency of administrative recordkeeping fees, which may be reduced by moving to this new structure. Recordkeeping fees will be charged as a flat-dollar amount per participant and be automatically deducted from your account.
