terminated employees

Although you are not actively contributing to the UW 403(b) program, you may have account balances in the program. While you don’t need to take action at this time, you should review this information to learn how the changes may affect your Ameriprise account.

You have options:

  • Leave your account balance with Ameriprise and continue to work independently with your Ameriprise representative.
  • Complete an in-plan transfer to TIAA or Fidelity. To start this process, contact the new recordkeeper:
    • TIAA: (800) 842-2252 (weekdays, 7am to 7pm CST)
    • Fidelity: (800) 343-0860 (weekdays, 7am to 11pm CST)

Note: New accounts with TIAA and Fidelity will update beneficiary information to State of Wisconsin Standard Sequence. Whether you are an active or terminated employee in the program, you will want to go into your account to update this information.
