Work closely with your supervisor to determine which system(s) to request access to.<\/p><h3>UW-Shared Services<\/h3><p>Use the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wisconsin.edu\/shared-services\/hr-professional-resources\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">UW-Shared Services, Service Operations website<\/a> to access system related information for HR Professionals, including payroll schedules and calendars.<\/p><h3>Job Aids<\/h3><p>Find HR system <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wisconsin.edu\/workday\/workday-for-hr-staff\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Job Aids<\/a> for common HR processes such as requesting and approving job requisitions, conducting background checks, managing temporary changes in pay, and overseeing performance reviews.<\/p><h3>Human Resource System<\/h3><p>Access to the <a href=\"http:\/\/myworkday.wisconsin.edu\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Human Resource System (Workday)<\/a>\u00a0is vital to your job duties. You will need to request access to the HR system.<\/p><h3>Cypress<\/h3><p>Cypress is a report distribution service. Reports are delivered to your Cypress inbox on a daily or weekly basis (depending on the report). Receiving and reviewing these reports is a ongoing activity for Benefits and Payroll administrators. Visit the <a href=\"https:\/\/reportdistribution.doit.wisc.edu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">main Cypress web page<\/a> to learn how to request access and install the Cypress client.<\/p><h3>Workday<\/h3><p>After signing into <a href=\"http:\/\/myworkday.wisconsin.edu\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Workday<\/a>:<\/p><ul><li>Employees can access payroll documents, enter their leave time, review leave statements, update their personal information, and access My Insurance Benefits to complete benefits enrollment and make changes to their benefits.<\/li><li>Managers can approve absences and time.<\/li><\/ul><h3>Department of Employee Trust Funds (ETF)<\/h3><ul><li><a href=\"http:\/\/etf.wi.gov\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ETF home page<\/a><\/li><li><a href=\"http:\/\/etf.wi.gov\/employers.htm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ETF Employer page<\/a><\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/etf.wi.gov\/employers\/employer-training\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ETF Employer training (recorded webinars)<\/a><\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/etf.wi.gov\/employer-news\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ETF Employer bulletins<\/a><\/li><li>ETF systems<ul><li>Using <a style=\"background-color: #ffffff\" href=\"https:\/\/etf.wi.gov\/employers\/wisconsin-retirement-system\/etf-web-applications-employers\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ETF Web Applications for Employers<\/a> (Previous Service and Benefit Inquiry), institution benefits administrators can look up an employee\u2019s previous WRS service.<\/li><li><a style=\"background-color: #ffffff\" href=\"https:\/\/etf.wi.gov\/employers\/insurance-programs\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ETF Insurance Administration Systems<\/a>\u00a0allows institution benefits administrators to review health enrollments and access the online Sick Leave Certification system.<\/li><li>To request access to ETF systems, complete ETF\u2019s <a style=\"background-color: #ffffff\" href=\"https:\/\/etf.wi.gov\/publications\/et8928\/direct\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Online Access Security Agreement (ET-8928)<\/a> and\/or <a href=\"https:\/\/etf.wi.gov\/publications\/et8928i\/download?inline=\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Online Access Security Agreement-IAS (ET-8928i)<\/a> depending on your position requirements.
