SUMMARY:CESA 8 Math Network: College Readiness in Mathematics Statement for Wisconsin
DESCRIPTION:The Cooperative Educational Services Agency 8 6th-12th Grade Math Network convening will include a presentation and discussion of a recent college readiness in mathematics statement written by a group of K-12 and higher education mathematics faculty. The session will introduce the statement about the mathematical knowledge and understanding college-bound students should possess\, as well as how the 2021 Wisconsin Mathematics Standards support the development of that knowledge. \nPresenters are Kevin McLeod\, Co-chair of the UW System Math Steering Committee and Associate Professor in the Department of Mathematical Sciences at UW-Milwaukee\, and Tammy Moynihan\, Associate Director of Curriculum Instruction and Assessment with CESA 8.
