SUMMARY:UW-Superior webinar: Student Perception of Co-requisite Model for Math Support
DESCRIPTION:Description: UW-Superior moved to a co-requisite model of developmental mathematics support in fall 2020. Presenters discussed their implementation of a single co-requisite support course that supports students in two credit-bearing gateway courses—Statistics and Quantitative Reasoning.  This model of one support for two different gateway tracks is a unique approach by the UW-Superior math department. In fall 2021\, the presenters performed surveys and interviews to determine the student reactions to the new model. Additionally\, the grades of co-requisite students since fall 2020 have been analyzed.
