Among the bills was <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.legis.wisconsin.gov\/2019\/proposals\/ab531\">AB 531<\/a>: ID Card Info, now Wisconsin <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.legis.wisconsin.gov\/2019\/related\/acts\/116\"><strong>Act 116<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Act 116 will require all newly issued student identification cards to include contact information for local and national suicide prevention hotlines.<\/p>\n<p>On Tuesday, March 3, 2020 the Governor also <a href=\"http:\/\/www.thewheelerreport.com\/wheeler_docs\/files\/030320eversbills.pdf\">signed several other bills<\/a> into law which affect the UW System, which include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/docs.legis.wisconsin.gov\/2019\/proposals\/reg\/sen\/bill\/sb537\">SB 537<\/a>\/<a href=\"http:\/\/docs.legis.wisconsin.gov\/2019\/proposals\/reg\/asm\/bill\/ab684\">AB 684<\/a> Private School Veterans Grant, now Wisconsin <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.legis.wisconsin.gov\/2019\/related\/acts\/149\"><strong>Act 149<\/strong><\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/docs.legis.wisconsin.gov\/2019\/proposals\/reg\/sen\/bill\/sb117\">SB 117<\/a>\/<a href=\"http:\/\/docs.legis.wisconsin.gov\/2019\/proposals\/reg\/asm\/bill\/ab82\">AB 82<\/a> Athlete Agent Regulation, now Wisconsin <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.legis.wisconsin.gov\/2019\/related\/acts\/180\"><strong>Act 180<\/strong><\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/docs.legis.wisconsin.gov\/2019\/proposals\/reg\/sen\/bill\/sb205\">SB 205<\/a>\/<a href=\"http:\/\/docs.legis.wisconsin.gov\/2019\/proposals\/ab230\">AB 230<\/a> Veterans Credit Transfer, now Wisconsin <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.legis.wisconsin.gov\/2019\/related\/acts\/147\"><strong>Act 147<\/strong><\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On Monday, March 2, 2020, Governor Tony Evers signed a series of bills into law.
