{"id":7726,"date":"2015-06-02T12:09:18","date_gmt":"2015-06-02T17:09:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.wisconsin.edu\/capital-planning\/?page_id=7726"},"modified":"2023-02-10T16:39:25","modified_gmt":"2023-02-10T22:39:25","slug":"deliverables","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.wisconsin.edu\/capital-planning\/real-estate-property\/deliverables\/","title":{"rendered":"Deliverables"},"content":{"rendered":"\n\t\t\t\t\t<div id=\"cfct-build-7726\" class=\"cfct-build grid\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"row\"><div class=\"col-md-9 cfct-block\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"cfct-module cfct-heading\">\n\t\t\t\t<h3 class=\"cfct-mod-title\">Geospatial Data Requirements<\/h3>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t<div class=\"cfct-module cfct-heading\">\n\t\t\t\t<h4 class=\"cfct-mod-title\">Computer Aided Design and Drafting (CADD) Drawings<\/h4>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t<div class=\"cfct-module uwsa-rich-text\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"cfct-mod-content copy\"><ol>\n<li>All delivered CADD data must be provided in AutoCAD\u00ae 2015 or exchange format convertible to AutoCAD\u00ae 2015.<\/li>\n<li>CADD drawings should follow The American Institute of Architects (AIA) layer naming conventions.<\/li>\n<li>CADD drawings must be delivered in a local coordinate system such as State Plane, datum NAD 83, or the appropriate County Coordinate System (<em>see\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.sco.wisc.edu\/pubs\/wisconsin-coordinate-reference-systems-second-edition\/\">Wisconsin Coordinate Reference Systems, Second Edition<\/a><\/em>).<\/li>\n<li>Each feature type, such as control points, property pins, contours, individual utilities, existing structures, text labels, etc. must be on a separate layer in CADD. Some examples are:<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"padding-left: 60px\">Unpaved parking in one layer and paved parking in another.<\/li>\n<li style=\"padding-left: 60px\">Utility poles in one layer and electrical lines in another layer.<\/li>\n<li style=\"padding-left: 60px\">Contour lines in one layer, and elevation text in another layer.<\/li>\n<li style=\"padding-left: 60px\">Property boundaries and property corners in separate layers.<\/li>\n<li style=\"padding-left: 60px\">Each survey point attribute in a separate layer. The data ID number, elevation, and description should all be in a separate layer.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t<div class=\"cfct-module cfct-heading\">\n\t\t\t\t<h4 class=\"cfct-mod-title\">Geographical Information Systems (GIS)<\/h4>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t<div class=\"cfct-module uwsa-rich-text\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"cfct-mod-content copy\"><ol>\n<li>All delivered datasets must be provided in an ESRI file geodatabase ArcGIS\u00ae 10.1 or 10.2. Map documents should be in ArcGIS\u00ae 10.1 or 10.2 and have &#8216;relative path&#8217; mode turned on.<\/li>\n<li>All delivered datasets must be Federal Geographic Data Committee (FGDC) metadata compliant. Basic topology rules should be applied when converting data from CADD or creating features in a GIS environment. For example, unnecessary vertices should be eliminated, line nodes should snap to other applicable node and point features, polygon features should not have gaps or overlaps, and any unwanted artifacts should be deleted.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/div>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t<div class=\"cfct-module cfct-heading\">\n\t\t\t\t<h3 class=\"cfct-mod-title\">Survey Requirements<\/h3>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t<div class=\"cfct-module uwsa-rich-text\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"cfct-mod-content copy\"><ol style=\"list-style-type: upper-alpha\">\n<li>The survey shall be conducted by a licensed surveyor and shall be documented on a 1&#8243; = 40&#8242;-0&#8242; minimum scale drawing that includes the following:\n<ol>\n<li style=\"padding-left: 30px\">Legal description of the property tied to a recognized and recorded landmark.<\/li>\n<li style=\"padding-left: 30px\">Property lines, including interior angles (<em>at changes of course<\/em>), bearings, and distances. Include all known easements, right-of-ways, restrictions, obstructions or impediments.<\/li>\n<li style=\"padding-left: 30px\">Area in acres of each parcel of land.<\/li>\n<li style=\"padding-left: 30px\">True and magnetic north arrow.<\/li>\n<li style=\"padding-left: 30px\">Name of engineer or surveyor, date survey was conducted, surveyor&#8217;s certification (<em>signed and\u00a0sealed<\/em>), and name of project.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<li>All transit points shall be monument with a 1&#8243; diameter x 24&#8243; long iron pipe or a \u00be&#8221; diameter x 24&#8243; long iron rod.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/div>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t<div class=\"cfct-module cfct-heading\">\n\t\t\t\t<h4 class=\"cfct-mod-title\">Certified Survey Map (CSM) Deliverables to Project Manager<\/h4>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t<div class=\"cfct-module uwsa-rich-text\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"cfct-mod-content copy\"><ol style=\"list-style-type: upper-alpha\">\n<li>Completed applications for submittal to the designated\u00a0County and Municipality.<\/li>\n<li>Stamped hard copy CSM drawing on bond containing requirements in <strong>Survey Requirements\u00a0A<\/strong> (<em>above<\/em>).<\/li>\n<li>Digital copy of CSM in Adobe PDF with surveyor&#8217;s stamp.<\/li>\n<li>Digital copy of survey in AutoCAD\u00ae 2015, or exchange format convertible to AutoCAD\u00ae 2015.
