Property acquisition and disposal, granting of easements, leasing property, demolition of facilities, naming facilities, municipal assessable improvements, campus boundary changes, instructional guides and reference materials are organized and located here.<\/p>\n<p>The Universities of Wisconsin owns more than 18,000 acres of land, of which approximately 4,700 acres are devoted to the campuses of the thirteen universities. The remaining acreage is used for experimental agriculture stations and agricultural land, arboretums, natural and conservancy areas, extension activities, and other university class=\"cfct-mod-content copy\">\n<p>With the passage of 2015 Wisconsin Act 55, the authority to lease real property, for use other than housing, was transferred to University of Wisconsin System Administration.\u00a0 This authority was then delegated to the Office of Capital Planning and Budget, which is responsible for leasing all real property for the thirteen university institutions and
