Outside of this timeframe, changes are only allowed if you experience a qualifying life event, such as a change in family or employment status. <strong>Changes made will be effective January 1, 2027.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-style-yellow is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">There will be benefits changes for 2027. Review each of the sections below for some important changes starting January 1, 2027.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-uwsa-accordion\">\n<details class=\"wp-block-uwsa-panel\"><summary>Health Insurance Plan Carriers<\/summary><div class=\"panel-body\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">All health insurance plan carriers will remain in the program for 2027. You cannot decline the administrative fees.<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div><\/details>\n\n\n\n<details class=\"wp-block-uwsa-panel\"><summary>Pharmacy Benefits Changes<\/summary><div class=\"panel-body\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Pharmacy benefits are included in all State Group Health Insurance plan designs. Some important pharmacy benefits changes starting January 1, 2027 are listed below.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Copayments and Coinsurance Changes\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Level 1 medications: copayment will increase to a maximum of $10 per fill<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Level 2 medications: covered at 25% up to a maximum of $60 per fill <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Level 3 medications: covered at 45% up to a maximum of $175 per fill<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Level 4 medications: copayment will increase to a maximum of $60 per fill<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Level 5 medications (only for anti-obesity medications for weight-loss): $200 per fill<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Coverage Enhancement\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Coverage for anti-obesity medications for weight-loss will be added starting January 1, 2027.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Mail Order Services\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Mail order services allow you to obtain a 90-day supply of most level 1 and level 2 maintenance medications. Currently, Costco Pharmacy is the mail order service provider for pharmacy benefits. Starting January 1, 2027, UW Health Pharmacy will also be a preferred mail order service provider. In 2027, you can use Costco Pharmacy and\/or UW Health Pharmacy for your mail order services for pharmacy benefits.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Navitus Health Solutions administers the pharmacy benefits. Find in-network pharmacies and the formulary list on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.navitus.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Navitus website<\/a>. Or call Navitus at (866) 333-2757 with questions. <\/p>\n<\/div><\/details>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"alert alert-success\"><p>Important: The health plan and HDHP only provide out-of-network coverage for emergencies and urgent care situations. Contact your health insurance carrier to make sure that your preferred doctors, clinics, and hospitals will remain in-network. Carrier contact information can be found in the Insurance Benefits Decision Guide (available in the Resources section below).<\/p><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Health Insurance Opt-Out Incentive<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you do not need health insurance coverage through the Universities of Wisconsin, you may be eligible for the Opt-Out Incentive. The Opt-Out Incentive is taxable and the $2,000 is paid evenly over 24 pay periods (two paychecks per month). <strong>Re-enrollment is required each year<\/strong> to receive the Opt-Out Incentive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Dental Insurance<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Uniform and Preventive Dental Insurance plans provide the same coverage for diagnostic, preventive, basic, and orthodontic services. If you <strong>enroll <\/strong>in State Group Health Insurance, you are eligible for the <strong>Uniform<\/strong> Dental Insurance plan. If you <strong>decline<\/strong> State Group Health Insurance OR elect the <strong>Opt-Out Incentive, <\/strong>you are eligible for the <strong>Preventive <\/strong>Dental Insurance plan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You may enroll in <strong>either<\/strong> the Uniform OR the Preventive plan <strong>and one<\/strong> Supplemental Dental Insurance Plan (Select or Select Plus). Your enrollment, coverage level, and dependents will remain the same for 2027 if you do not make a change during the enrollment period.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-uwsa-accordion\">\n<details There is no open enrollment opportunity but you can apply at any time with proof of good health.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/details>\n\n\n\n<details class=\"wp-block-uwsa-panel\"><summary>Well Wisconsin Program<\/summary><div class=\"panel-body\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In 2027, the $150 incentive through the Well Wisconsin Program will continue to be available to you (and your spouse, if enrolled) if you enroll in State Group Health Insurance.
