The building opened in Fall 2018<\/p>\n<p>Designed as a \u201cscience-on-display\u201d facility, it houses the entire\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.uwsp.edu\/chemistry\/Pages\/default.aspx\">Department of Chemistry<\/a>, and the molecular biology, human biology and botany sections of the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.uwsp.edu\/biology\/Pages\/default.aspx\">Department of Biology<\/a>. As an opportunity for recruiting new students into the sciences, and to complement its renown as a science-excellence campus, the new building added 176,500 square feet of working space, be a central hub of activity for campus, and is\u00a0home to more than 45 full-time faculty and staff.
