Parkside Athletics is thrilled to announce a $200,000 commitment to support the women\u2019s basketball program. This generous contribution, provided by a donor who has chosen to remain anonymous, will create a new long-term fund dedicated to advancing special initiatives within the women\u2019s basketball program and enhancing the experience of its student-athletes.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis impactful gift is a testament to the hard work of the coaching staff, as well as the passion and commitment of the Parkside supporters and community,\u201d said Parkside Director of Athletics Adam Schemm. \u201cUnder Coach Conely\u2019s leadership, we have seen the women\u2019s basketball program grow in success both on the court and in the classroom, as well as in our community.\u201d<\/p>\n

The establishment of this fund will further fuel the athletics department\u2019s mission to create exceptional experiences for student-athletes, support their development, and enhance Parkside\u2019s competitive stature in NCAA Division II athletics. The new initiatives supported by this donation will aim to provide unique opportunities and resources for the women\u2019s basketball program, allowing the team and its members to excel at the highest level.<\/p>\n

With this generous investment, the donor has significantly bolstered Parkside Athletics’ fundraising goals and reinforced a culture of excellence within the program. The Athletics Department expresses deep gratitude to this anonymous supporter, whose vision and commitment to Parkside\u2019s values will benefit women\u2019s basketball student-athletes for years to come.<\/p>\n
