Virtual Presentation<\/a><\/h3>\"Mykel<\/a>

In recognition of Global Advising Week, Mykel Beorchia, Director of the Office of Appreciative Education at Florida Atlantic University, will be leading a webinar on May 5, 2026, titled \u201cEmbracing the Pivot: Appreciative Advising Strategies for Humanizing Difficult Conversations<\/a>\u201d which will focus on the use of the Appreciative Advising framework to help students navigate moments of decision when a pivot is required, such as academic probation or unmet program requirements. Grounded in student\u2011success research, the session will highlight strategies to humanize these challenging conversations and guide students toward meaningful next steps.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\t\t\t<\/div><\/div>

Navigate360 Workshop<\/a><\/h3>\"\"<\/a>

The 2026 Navigate360 Workshop took place this spring on April 14, 2026, at UW-Stevens Point and focused on effective strategies for maximizing the use of Navigate360 across the Universities of Wisconsin. Attendees can access materials from the workshop on the 2026 Workshop Materials website<\/a> using their UW credentials to login.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\t\t\t<\/div><\/div>

During this webinar, Dr. Farouk Dey, President of Palo Alto University, examined how technological change and shifting workforce demands are transforming education, career pathways, and talent development.
