Pressing Forth

Despite Wisconsin's challenging budget environment, the University of Wisconsin System continues to press forth with its mission to educate, discover and serve. The cover story in this latest issue of Wisconsin Ideas is a good example of that. The UW System is collaborating with its colleagues in K-12 education, the Wisconsin Technical College System and the state's private colleges to deliver seamless PK-16 education. And the effort is beginning to pay off, as Kate Kail points out in her article 'Paving the way'—proof again that the Wisconsin Idea is still vibrant and alive.
