Incoming UW-Stout freshmen Nathan Israiliff, 17, left, and Chris Rousseau, 18, bicycled more than 1,700 miles from their homes in Sarasota, Fla., to register for classes at UW-Stout in Menomonie. The two departed May 26, five days after their high school graduation. They were greeted by family and friends when they arrived on campus June 21. Rousseau will join UW-Stout's studio art program, and Israiliff will be a part of the manufacturing engineering program. (Eau Claire Leader-Telegram)
