Budget Reductions

At the UW System, one of the ways we are coping with the most recent
budget reductions is to consider the costs of all of our printed
materials. With that in mind, the Summer 2002 issue of Wisconsin Ideas
is being published only in an online format—there is no print issue.
Since the redesign of Wisconsin Ideas last year, the publication has
been produced in both print and online versions. The stories and photos
are the same in both formats. It is our hope that faculty and staff will
understand the reason for the change and still appreciate the news and
perspectives that are included in Wisconsin Ideas from throughout the UW
System.
