President's Advisory Committee on the Roles of UW System Administration

Providing Input to the Committee

Individuals wishing to provide input regarding potential changes in the structure, function and support of System Administration are asked to email comments to advisory@uwsa.edu, after considering the following questions:

  • Which of the core System Administration functions and services need to be sustained, although perhaps with reduced staffing and cost?  What are some alternatives for offering the service at lower cost?
  • What functions and services would be good to keep, but are of lesser importance than the first group?  What are some options for offering the service at lower cost?
  • What functions and services should be considered for elimination?  What are the likely consequences of this action?
  • What functions and services should be centralized in order to provide better service and efficiency?
  • What consequences would these changes have on the campuses?
