President's Advisory Committee on the Roles of UW System Administration
President's Advisory Committee Overview
The 2011-13 biennial budget includes proposals to reduce UW System Administration’s operating budget and provide administrative and management flexibilities to the Board of Regents. In addition, the Board of Regents has expressed strong support for delegating administrative and management flexibilities to all UW System Chancellors, to the extent allowed by statutes and governance framework. In the context of these potential changes, and a desire to more effectively and efficiently operate as one of the nation's premier public university systems, President Reilly appointed a committee to advise him on potential changes in the structure, function, and support of UW System Administration.
The purpose of this website is to share information regarding the committee meetings and deliberations, as well as provide an opportunity for all UW System employees to provide suggestions regarding potential changes to UW System Administration.
