Environmental Affairs and Occupational Safety & Health
As part of the mission of the Office of Safety and Loss Prevention (OSLP), we assist our campuses with environmental affairs and occupational safety & health while maintaining our commitment to the mission of the University of Wisconsin System.
We strive to meet this goal by supporting the management and staff responsible for environmental management and occupational safety programs at each UW System campus.
Guidance, compliance assistance, and regulatory information
We maintain a directory of compliance assistance and best management practices.
Training services
EH&S managers from UW System campuses meet annually to discuss how to best meet our training needs. To support this effort, our office maintains a directory of training resources and material for use by our campuses.
Environmental contracts
We assist in development and maintenance of several environmental contracts, primarily covering waste disposal.
