  • The State of Wisconsin Investment Board (SWIB) has released the 2008 preliminary Wisconsin Retirement System investment returns. See SWIB's press release for more information.

  • Information about how the current market turbulence is affecting your Wisconsin Retirement System account is now available online. There is also a Q&A Guide for Almost Retirees available to help employees understand the impact of retiring in 2008 or 2009.

  • The Department of Employee Trust Funds has created a website dedicated to information about the Variable Fund. ETF has also developed a document to help people who are considering canceling Variable Fund participation.
  • Total Compensation Estimator now available online: http://www.uwsa.edu/hr/benefits/compest/ This tool can be used by potential and current employees to help evaluate a job offer. A cost of living comparison tool is also available as part of the estimator.
