  • Information about how the current market turbulence is affecting your Wisconsin Retirement System account is now available online. There is also a Q&A Guide for Almost Retirees available to help employees understand the impact of retiring in 2008 or 2009.

  • The Department of Employee Trust Funds has created a website dedicated to information about the Variable Fund. ETF has also developed a document to help people who are considering canceling Variable Fund participation.

  • The fall benefit open enrollment period was from October 6 - November 14, 2008. Contact your benefits office to learn if there are any options that may be available to you if you missed the enrollment period.

  • Total Compensation Estimator now available online: http://www.uwsa.edu/hr/benefits/compest/ This tool can be used by potential and current employees to help evaluate a job offer. A cost of living comparison tool is also available as part of the estimator.

  • Retirement Savings Options Available to UW System Employees summary guide now available online.
