Will I earn more in the Variable?

    Maybe, but remember:

  • Choosing Variable only means you change the way one-half of your FUTURE contributions are invested

  • Although stocks have out-performed bonds historically, there are no guarantees, especially in the short run

  • The Variable Fund can be very volatile, as the next slide shows
