Membership Terms and Rates
The UW's primary Club Quarters member location is Club Quarters, River Hotel - 75 East Wacker Drive at Michigan Avenue, Chicago, IL. Our agreement requires that the UW maintain a volume quota at the UW's primary location which affords us member pricing for standard sleeping rooms, meeting rooms, and extended-stay apartments. Additionally, as members of Club Quarters, University business travelers will receive membership rates at all of the Club Quarters locations.

Members, defined as employees, students, guests, and alumni, may use Club Quarters® for incidental personal use at the University of Wisconsin's low member rates 365 days a year at all 14 locations. Rates start at $84.

The UW's member pricing on a standard room is far less than many comparable hotels in the respective locations. The UW's membership pricing plan is also less, in most cases, than the prescribed lodging maximums; however, use of a contract property whose rate exceeds the maximum is NOT justification for exceeding the State's lodging maximums.

*Weekend Rates at Club Quarters
Club Quarters offers special low weekend and holiday period rates starting from $62 in Chicago. To be eligible for the weekend rate, you must check in on Friday or Saturday and check out on Sunday (or Monday during holiday periods). These rates are available upon request and are based on availability.

*"Night on the House" at Club Quarters
At Club Quarters you can earn a complimentary "Night on the House" certificate for every business stay after the first stay. These certificates can be used for a complimentary one-night business stay at any Club Quarters. Details and available dates are listed on the certificate, and a $25 service fee will apply.

Corporate Apartments/Extended Stays at Club Quarters
For long-term business assignments, Club Quarters offers fully equipped corporate apartments at all Club Quarters locations. All units have well-equipped kitchens, except New York (Wall Street, Midtown, and opposite Rockefeller Center) which have kitchenettes. Full hotel services with a choice of weekly or daily maid service. In addition, corporate apartments have complimentary unlimited local and toll-free calls, complimentary DVD/CD players, and low-cost laundry. Daily rates starting as low as just $56.

End of Week Group Rates at Club Quarters
Club Quarters is available for UW-sponsored meetings, conferences, training, and other events with low group rates. End of week group rates are even lower for meetings beginning on Thursday. Rates start at just $66. Some group and training rates may be lower than daily rates. Club Quarters also has inexpensive and attractive meeting rooms, all with complimentary high-speed Internet access, complete banquet services including half- and full-day meeting packages, and AV to cater to your group.

Chicago River Hotel - Property Overview
Fully restored to its historic grandeur, the Club Quarters River Hotel, located at 317 Wacker Drive at Michigan Avenue, is housed within the historic Mather Tower, one of the best examples of pre-WWII skyscrapers built anywhere in the world. Constructed in 1928, the Mather Tower was distinguished at that time as Chicago's tallest building. This landmark hotel is 41 stories, has 246 guest rooms overlooking the Chicago River, stands one block from the NBC Tower, and is across the river from Trump Tower, the Wrigley Building, and the Tribune Tower.

Notifications and Fees:

• There are no room charges for children 12 years old and younger who occupy the same room as their parents or guardians, using existing bedding.
