UW-Madison waited more than one year to formally reprimand a power plant superintendent who asked a subordinate to have sex with him, a school official said Monday...

"Pact with tech college to boost UW-Madison engineering program," Business Journal of Milwaukee, July 21.

The College of Engineering and Madison Area Technical College (MATC) will sign an agreement Monday that will guarantee qualified MATC students admission to University of Wisconsin-Madison engineering programs. The UW System has approved a $60,000 grant for the engineering transfer program, the schools said Monday...

In the next week, the chancellor's office of the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point will send a letter to all incoming students and their parents encouraging students to leave their cars at home, and use a bike or public transportation to get around the city instead. The top two men from our state's college and university systems made a trip to the Northwoods today to talk about the future of higher education in Wisconsin. Kevin Reilly, president of the UW System and Dan Clancy, president of the state's Technical College System met at Nicolet College in Rhinelander, the first time in school history...
