"Students could be target of next illegal file-sharing lawsuit," Wisconsin State Journal, June 26.

In a signal that more copyright infringement lawsuits could be coming against students in the University of Wisconsin System, the Recording Industry Association of America filed suit Wednesday in Madison seeking the names of people it believes illegally downloaded music at System facilities...

"Faculty voted no confidence in Felner in '06," Associated Press, June 26.

The educator who resigned before becoming University of Wisconsin-Parkside chancellor because of a pending criminal investigation received a "no confidence" vote from University of Louisville faculty members at a meeting in 2006, a newspaper reports...

People on the chancellor search committee at the University of Wisconsin-Parkside knew the man they recommended as a finalist got a no-confidence vote at the college where he was dean, but they didn’t tell the Board of Regents or the UW System president about it — raising more tough questions about the university system’s vetting process...

University of Wisconsin-Parkside officials knew as early as last Friday that there was a federal investigation into Robert Felner when agents showed up at the chancellor's office to take away boxes of paperwork he already sent here...
