"UW-Madison makes security changes to ID cards," Channel3000.com, March 14.

UW-Madison is halting the use of ID cards based on Social Security numbers to lessen the possibility of identity theft.

"UW-Stout's art is long gone," Eau Claire Leader-Telegram, March 17.

Over the years, most of the antiquities on display in UW-Stout's museum have gone missing; the museum was founded in 1890 and the collection included wrought iron works by Thomas F. Googerty and an audio recording of John F. Kennedy speaking at Stout during the 1960 primary.

UW-River Fall's Student Senate unanimously supports the new military leadership minor that will be offered in fall.

UW-Platteville brewery brews about 10 barrels a year; the beer is only available at the school's Pioneer Student Center.
