"UW eyes big new site for research rodents," Capital Times, Feb. 5.

The UW System Board of Regents will vote in March on a $20 million plan that includes a holding facility for live animals for observation.

Rep. Jeff Stone issued a statement yesterday that the Washburn University logo is different than UW's and asked the Board of Regents to drop the lawsuit.

Editorial stating Wisconsin is relatively unprepared to face an economic downturn when compared to other states with similar budgets; state legislators need to shoulder their share of the responsibility in overspending.
