"UW-M/WC receives federal funding for science lab renovation," Marshfield News-Herald, Jan. 10.

UW-Marshfield/Wood County will upgrade their science labs by next year thanks to almost $200,000 in federal funds.

"UW-Parkside faculty, staff participate in first-ever Summer Institute," Racine Journal Times, Jan. 7.

A group of faculty at UW-Parkside participated in a seven-month experiment in an effort to increase multiculturalism in each participant's teaching.

"$1M grant funds scholarships for older students," Capital Times, Jan. 9.

The Bernard Osher Foundation granted a $1 million to UW-Madison for scholarships for returning adults.

"UW patent arm licenses stem cell technology," Milwaukee Business Journal, Jan. 9.

The Wisconsin Alumni Research Foundation is licensing 173 patents and patent applications filed internationally relating to human embryonic stem cell technology to a California-based company.
