Construction will begin this summer on UW-La Crosse's new athletic complex, but, the complex will not initially have all the aspects originally sought.

Cellectar, a Madison-based research firm founded by UW-Madison professor Jamey Weichert, raised an additional $13 million in funding.

If passed, the legislation would create an income tax credit for interest payments of student loans; the bill targets the nearly 20% of degreed individuals that leave the state.
