The UW System listening sessions on Tuesday will seek input from residents and communities across the state.

"UW holding forum on segregated fees," Badger Herald, Nov. 26.

Students on UW-Madison's campus will have the opportunity to voice concerns over changes to the segregated fee policy in a meeting set up through the Dean of Students Offices; the policy recommendations will be reviewed by each UW campus along with the Segregated Fee System Committee.

"UW profs aim to stir up giant classes," Wisconsin State Journal, Nov. 26.

When lecture sizes top 400 due to increasing enrollment, professors of large universities like UW-Madison seek to engage students on a personal level through a variety of innovative means.

"Enrollment up 16 percent at UW-B/SC," Baraboo News Republic, Nov. 26.

UW-Baraboo/ Sauk County has experienced significant growth over last year; Dean Pleger notes that the college plays an important role in fulfilling the UW System's Growth Agenda goal of increasing the state's number of bachelor's degree holders.

"Inside the lines - Campus master plan will likely remain within existing boundaries," Dunn County News, Nov. 26.

UW-Stout's new master plan will not include much in the way of expansion, but will seek to maximize and upgrade the space the campus now occupies.

"UW-Fond du Lac's Gottfried Arboretum to offer bench dedication program," Fond du Lac Reporter, Nov. 26.

The bench dedication program's revenue will go towards restoration projects in the arboretum.

"UW-L Images Project challenges stereotypes," La Crosse Tribune, Nov. 26.

UW- La Crosse's photography department has partnered with the AIDS Resource Center of Wisconsin to break down assumptions about those living with HIV-AIDs through the Images Project.

State

"Wisconsin must protect edge in stem cell research," Column, Racine Journal Times, Nov. 23.

Column outlines the important benefits stem cell research can bring to the state of Wisconsin.

"Plan recommends 5 percent raises for Wisconsin state employees," Associated Press, Nov. 26.

The Office of State Employment has recommended a total 5 percent increase over 18 months for some state employees.
