The UW System Board of Regents discussed the initial phases of the university's strategic plan to utilize its resources to help Wisconsin thrive in the global economy.
The Board of Regents heard an update on the President's 2007 Commission on University Security, one designed to update the UW System's safety and security measures and prevent an incident like the one at Virginia Tech University in April.
UW-Stevens Point Chancellor Linda Bunnell presented the campus's three-phase master plan to the Board of Regents, outlining the numerous campus improvement projects contained therein.
